UNRAVEL: A Virtual Monologue Slam Competition
In partnership with the Harold Green Jewish Theatre
UNRAVEL featured 10 young Canadian writer-performers reflecting on the topic of Jewish Identity. The top 10 monologues were broadcast on YouTube and our top 3 finalists were selected by guest judges Elly Barlin-Daniels, Rachel Dratch, Jamie Elman, and Ari Weinberg.
Top 10 Finalists: Jenna Berenbaum, Anna Binder, Ori Black, Amanda Freedman, Naomi Guttman, Fanny Kearse, Rachel Manson, Becca Willow Moss, Adina Samuels, and Stephanie Zeit.
New Years Eve Mask-erade: A Virtual Community Celebration

Artists In Residence and Singular Sensation Online! bring you a New Year's Eve online marathon broadcast of performances, conversations and giveaways to celebrate the resilience of our theatre community in the midst of the pandemic, and to offer a place of gathering during this time of isolation.

A Night of New Works

In Support of The AFC (Formerly the Actors' Fund of Canada
Six original short plays written, rehearsed, and performed virtually during the COVD-19 pandemic. This special live-streamed event featured the work of over 50 artists, and raised $5000 for The AFC (Formerly the Actors Fund of Canada)

Nutcracker Workshop with Greta Hodgkinson
Greta Hodgkinson, former Principal Dancer with The National Ballet of Canada and recipient of the Order of Ontario, joined Artists in Residence to lead a special Nutcracker-themed ballet class in support of Meagan's HUG. Participants learned the Sugar Plum Fairy Variation from the Royal Winnipeg Ballet's production of The Nutcracker.
